Walking Barefoot

Walking barefoot on the earth sends tingles and a sensation through my body.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shoots up my leg, causing me to jump.

Frantically, I search for the source of the pain, only to find a large spike protruding from the top of my foot.

Carefully, I remove the stick, making sure not to break the barb, and a trickle of blood stains the ground. The red mark is striking. I sit down, taking a deep breath, feeling no rush.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, I look for a remedy. I pick leaves from a nearby bush, crushing them to release their distinct scents. One leaf stands out as powerful and healing. I apply it to the wound, pressing more leaves until the juice stains my foot. I start to feel better.

Using a large leaf to bind my foot and a stick for support, I make my way to the cool waters of the nearby river for a refreshing swim. Some cocoa fruits will provide the energy I need. Despite stepping on a thorn, there is hope. The jungle must be navigated with caution.
