The Village Doctor's Prescription

Within every village, there exist individuals who possess energy and creativity.

Rioha exemplified these unique qualities. 

The village had numerous requirements, and Rioha was frequently summoned to provide assistance.

Despite complaints of sickness, exhaustion, and discomfort from others, Rioha persevered. He maintained a determined mindset to progress and utilize his time effectively, unlike those who simply observed passively.

Rioha's neighbors were not pleased with his expanded garden. They voiced their dissatisfaction with the noise from the construction, as they preferred a quiet and peaceful environment. Despite their objections, Rioha continued with his plans to build his garden and hut. In retaliation, the elderly woman came up with a plan and sought help from the village doctor.

The village doctor's clinic was filled with a wide range of medications and remedies, drawing a steady flow of patients seeking a miraculous cure. Even the Chief, who had a lingering cough from smoking his pipe, patiently waited in line.

Doctor's Little Gifts

Rioha's neighbor spoke to the doctor about the boy's disruptive behavior, explaining that the family was struggling to find peace because of his high energy levels. She asked for medication to help calm him down, and the doctor prescribed sedative pills. To show her gratitude, she gave the doctor a large pumpkin as a thank-you gift.

Upon her return to the house, she proceeded to prepare a substantial pitcher of juice. She then called Rioha over to the house to enjoy a revitalizing beverage. "Look, Rioha, I have made a fresh juice for you. Please, come and enjoy its delicious taste!" she said enthusiastically. Rioha was thrilled and eager to accept his neighbor's thoughtful gesture. However, just before handing it to him, she secretly added the small white pills.

Breakfast Time

Rioha went back to his tasks at home, but he quickly started feeling lightheaded. He settled under the tree and gazed into the distance. By 6 pm, he was still sitting there silently, while his neighbor seemed surprisingly pleased with the lack of progress. The following day, she presented Rioha with a breakfast of juice, accompanied by small white pills and toast, as she had implemented a new daily schedule.
