The fishing vessels returned with a bountiful haul, much to the delight of the fishmongers. "What an extraordinary catch we have witnessed!" exclaimed the women of the village. The fishermen were content until more boats arrived, all brimming with fish. "What is happening? Every boat is overflowing with fish!" the women remarked. It was an exceptional day for the sea to provide such abundance. Suddenly, a man in a dark suit and tie, clutching a large book, strolled down the wharf. "No fishing is permitted during the fish breeding season. Those caught will face fines for selling fish at this time!" declared the official. The fishermen and fishmongers were taken aback and puzzled by this announcement. What a dilemma they now faced.
